To participate in a Heart+Passion adventure requires a giving heart, courage, patience,
endurance, time, and money. The trips are not inexpensive, as the areas we serve are remote and
a large portion of the cost of each trip is a tax-deductible donation to our partner NGOs. Most of our journeys involve rugged travel, some camping, exposure to weather extremes, and health risks. And while we enjoy the attractions of the lands we visit as conventional tourists do, a significant portion of our time is spent in service to the
local people.
Of course, its exactly for these reasons that people are drawn to Heart+Passion journeys—-the opportunity to
experience the unforgettable, to receive through giving,
to develop close, lasting relationships with local people, and to immerse in the rich cultures and vibrant communities in a way totally unavailable to and impractical for the
normal tourist. And throughout we do have fun, enjoy the best available accommodations, savor the finest local
cuisine, and most importantly, make music, beat drums, dance, laugh, and party-hearty with the locals.
