Heart+Passion has sponsored and continues to sponsor unique journeys of exploration
and giving in some of the most remarkably beautiful, but sadly impoverished
regions of the world. The people we meet and support are so amazingly
charming, welcoming, and grateful. The countries we visit, so rich in history,
culture, and natural marvels. Tour with us a few of our recent journeys...and
consider our future offerings. Access details, pictures and maps for each.
Niger, 2006
A magically memorable two-week medical mission offering primary care to
2,500 men, women and children of the Wadaabe and Tuareg nomadic tribes
in austerely-beautiful north-central Niger. Ecuador, 2006
A wondrous experience of supporting the two dozen physicians, surgeons,
and nurses of Medical Mission for Children in treating over 70 infants, children,
and teens afflicted with cleft palette. Mali, 2008
A journey of magical travel and supportive giving in collaboration with Turtle Will, in which ten American volunteers/tourists joined with two dozen Malian physicans, nurses, translators, drivers, cooks, and staff to provide primary medical services to thousands of desert and river tribal people.
Nepal, 2008
The best of both worlds: trekking in the Himalayas combined with service to conflict displaced children. This trip is fully booked.
Haiti, 2008
A mission of care to support sufferers in post-hurricane Haiti. Our group of American volunteers/tourists are escorted by care-givers from Most High Ministries. This November, 2008 journey is fully booked.
Ethiopia, 2009
Now being designed, our Ethiopian experience will take us to the amazing
historic and religious sites of this ancient Empire, as well as to the tribes of the
remote Omo Region. We will be partnering with and sponsoring work by three
NGOs: Turtle Will, charity; water, and Medical Missions for Children.
